"Why Don't You Love Me? " was written by Solange Knowles (B's younger sister for those who don't know) and it is the 8th video from the I Am...Sasha Fierce album. I really like this video, maybe it's because I feel like I can relate to the song, or maybe it's because mainstream artist don't make old gritty videos anymore. Whatever it is, it's caused me to watch the video 5x in a row.

Artist of the Week - Cocoa Sarai

Brooklyn native Cocoa Sarai's LP "1/2 Past Seven" is finally here! Honestly, this is the most versatile piece of work I've heard from a female artist in a really long time. "1/2 Past Seven" has a techno-ish track called "Ring," a song called "She Took the Night" which has a 1 minute long spoken word intro, and a song titled "Side Effects" which makes me nod my head and say "damn, I can totally relate."

I don't usually go hard for female R&B singers but there's something really captivating about Cocoa Sarai. Maybe it's her soulful voice or maybe it's the emotion that she puts into every song. Whatever it is, she's got me hooked.

When It's Cold Outside

Guess who has a new EP? Aime does and it's called "When It's Cold Outside." He worked with new producers for this mixtape (such as Paul Beats, Dannie Phantom and DCypher) which has resulted in a more mature sound than his previous work. You know what really grinds my gears?

How come every time I go to the doctor the first question asked is "Khamari are you pregnant?" WTF?!?! What ever happened to "what's wrong?" "how are you feeling?" "what hurts?" or even "hi! How's your day going?" Does the chance that I may or may not be preggers effect treatment? Is pregnancy the cause of my ailments?

What really gets me is when I say no, the doctor's response is "are you sure you're not pregnant?" No sir, I'm not sure, in fact, I'm gonna be on the next episode of I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant.

Is teen pregnancy that big of an issue these days that it's the 1st thing that comes to mind as soon as a patient sits on that paper covered bed thing? "Oh, you have a cough and a sore throat...you must be pregnant."

What makes the situation worse is every time the doctor asks if I'm knocked up, my mom gives me a death stare like she's gonna beat the life out of me if I don't answer "no" with the quickness.
