Honestly, this is the most versatile piece of work I've heard from a female artist in a really long time. "1/2 Past Seven" has a techno-ish track called "Ring," a song called "She Took the Night" which has a 1 minute long spoken word intro, and a song titled "Side Effects" which makes me nod my head and say "damn, I can totally relate."
I don't usually go hard for female R&B singers but there's something really captivating about Cocoa Sarai. Maybe it's her soulful voice or maybe it's the emotion that she puts into every song. Whatever it is, she's got me hooked.
