I chuckle every time he says Cowamuthafuckinbunga.The first time I heard Wordspit was on FKi's Fresh Gear Uh and I thought "hmm...he sounds interesting." Almost a year after that I saw him perform in Philly at Coo's lounge and I thought "hmm...he IS interesting." I have never seen anyone with as much energy on stage as Wordspit.
On Monday I saw him at Santos Party House and boy oh boy what a live show that was.
He was supposed to premier his video Poet's Haiku but due to some technical difficulties that didn't really happen so, here it goes!
Others who performed that night:
Rockstar Society: Pretty good. They had catchy songs and incorporated crowd participation.
Will: ehh (but it was only his 3rd performance). His 1st song was cool but I think that's because it was produced by Precize. I friggen love Precize
The Rocketeers: Honestly, I couldn't pay attention to their music because all I could think about was "hey, one of them kind of looks like Fresh Daily." They've been nominated for a woody so they must be decent.
Cocoa Sarai: Although she only said a total of 3 words (hello good morning), they were the most beautiful sounding 3 words I've ever heard. Geez that girl can SANG!
Kalae: I liked her entrance, she just walked from the back of the room on to the stage when her verse came up. She raps and can hold a note too. NICE
